The Verizon Debate

Palm WebOS Blog can definitely confirm that Verizon, the largest US mobile carrier, may or may not be but probably almost kinda sorta want to not be the next carrier to provide their customers with the Palm Pre. Verizon stated before the initial launch of the Pre on Sprint that they would snag the highly anticipated phone (or a similar webOS device) by early 2010, at the end of Sprint’s 6 month exclusivity

Is T-Mobile Looking to Buy Sprint?

It appears that Deutsche Telekom, the parents company of T-Mobile is calling in banking advisers to research a possible multi-billion dollar  deal to take over Sprint Nextel, the third largest US based cell phone carrier. Currently T-Mobile is ranked fourth, and a merger would put the two companies in line to challenge AT&T for their second-place position.

Sprint Unveils New Pricing Plan

Sprint, the third largest mobile carrier in the US, has already been considered to have the most competitive pricing in the market. Today, they’ve stepped up their game and announced a new “Any Mobile, Anytime” plan that allows free calls to any mobile phone without limitation of certain hours or days. The plan effectively changes the $69.99 plan that includes 450 mobile to landline minutes and $79.99 for 900 mobile to landline minutes.

Sprint Calls April Fools in September

Yesterday, Sprint pushed out an additional $100 credit off the Palm Pre to new customers willing to switch carriers and pick up the Palm Pre.
