This morning Palm announced that it has released version 1.2.1 of its webOS smartphone operating system for the Palm Pre and the upcoming Pixi. The new release fixes an issue with Microsoft Exchange as well as re-enables media synchronization with the latest version of Apple’s iTunes (9.0.1).
Bad news, Palm Pre owners: it looks like Apple has broken the Pre’s iTunes syncing ability once again. On Wednesday Apple released the latest version of its media software, iTunes 9, which includes social networking features, a new iTunes Store interface, and, apparently, a way to break the Pre’s syncing capability.
