I was recently given the opportunity to try out the new Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus from Verizon. The Plus refers to the ability of both these phones to function as 3G hotspots (like a mi-fi). You can connect up to 5 devices through Wi-Fi to access the internet through the phones.
Shortly after a significant system software upgrade was released for Sprint’s versions of Palm’s latest smartphones, Verizon’s webOS-based models have received it, too. webOS 1.4 brings the ability to record video, as well as a number of other enhancements.

The latest version of Apple [AAPL] iTunes, version 9.0.2 is out and is said to contain many enhancements and “fixes”.
Apple has released iTunes 9.0.2, which, amongst other things, again kills the ability for the Palm Pre to sync with the software.
The previously reviewed Checkers “Lite” version for Palm Pre was very impressive, and Checkers Pro builds on that excellence to introduce new features and settings that improves gameplay and the overall experience of the game on the Palm Pre. Like the free version, Checkers Pro comes with a single-player and two-player modes (online play is in the works). The algorithm behind the computer opponent is improved.
