Information leaking out of Asia helps confirm that Verizon Wireless will begin offering the Palm Pixi early next year. This entry-level smartphone running the new webOS is already available from Sprint, but Verizon is expected to pick it up, and the Palm Pre , too.

We already know that the Palm Pre is headed to Verizon sometime in early 2010, but now BGR is reporting that the Palm Pixi will be coming to Verizon, too. BGR also says that the Verizon phones are going to carry the “Plus” moniker, i.e. the Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi Plus.
